Targeting DNA damage and repair to improve the treatment of cancer

KuDOS Pharmaceuticals holds a leading position in the discovery and development of drugs based upon the science of DNA damage sensing, signaling and repair to address unmet medical needs in cancer treatment.

We use rational drug discovery techniques to create potent and selective small molecule inhibitors with specific activity against individual DNA repair pathways. KuDOS research indicates that inhibition of selected pathways can significantly enhance the clinical effectiveness of radiotherapy and various chemotherapeutics.

KuDOS has built closely knit research and development teams that can expedite candidate compounds through to the clinic.

We are committed to improving therapy for cancer patients by building strong international collaborations to fully realize the potential of our products.

On 31st Jan 2006, KuDOS was acquired and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of AstraZeneca.
